Bonfire Night

General drunken debauchery plus gigantic mega-bonfires? YES.

Bonfire night was last night, and it was totally grand. Basically, its a west-coast-of-Ireland tradition to commemorate the birth of St. John by burning things in massive amounts. The islanders use this as a method of getting rid of old furniture, clothes, and other such garbage, as we are not allowed mega-super-ginormous bonfires on any other night. The heat was so strong from the fire it cancelled out the rain that was hitting us. (I was dry on one side and cold and wet on the other.)
